The TEN-TEN-TEN Blueprint
A planning method that connects the next ten years to the next ten weeks.

The problem
A ten-year goal is easy to name and hard to act on. Once you have it, the day-to-day takes over and the plan stops getting looked at until the next January.
How does the TEN-TEN-TEN method work?
This book closes that distance with three horizons that work together. You start with a picture of the life you want to be living in ten years, decide what the next ten months have to produce to keep that picture possible, and then plan the ten weeks of work in front of you. Each layer checks the one above it, so a Tuesday decision can be traced back to a value you chose on purpose.
I wrote it for people who have a lot of drive and a calendar that keeps eating it. The method is simple, and the book includes the worksheets and examples to build your own plan.
What you will learn
The three horizons, and how to run them.
Set a ten-year direction you believe in
Your ten-year picture is a set of experiences you want to have lived, built from your own values rather than a job title, so it holds up in a bad month.
Turn the decade into ten months
Pick the handful of outcomes the next ten months have to produce for the ten-year picture to stay possible, and let everything else wait.
Plan ten weeks you can finish
Break the next ten months into a ten-week block with a clear finish line, run it, and review it before planning the next one.
Check new opportunities against the plan
When a new offer or project comes up, the three horizons give you a fast way to decide whether it belongs in your plan.
Plan the next ten years in a way you can act on.
You get a plan you can trace from a ten-year vision down to the work in front of you, and it works as well for a career change as it does for a business you are growing.
